Dr. Sandhya Udeshi

(Doctor of Dental Surgery)

With more than two decades of dedicated practice on the South Shore of Long Island, Dr. Udeshi has honed her passion for patient care and education. Raised in a close-knit community with healthcare-focused parents, her journey naturally led her to a fulfilling career in dentistry.

In 2002, Dr. Udeshi earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry, distinguishing herself with Honors and membership in the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society. Over the years, she has consistently pursued excellence, enriching her expertise through continuous education in dental implants and cutting-edge technology.

Dr. Udeshi remains an active and esteemed member of prominent dental associations, including the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, Suffolk County Dental Society, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.

Beyond her professional achievements, Dr. Udeshi and her husband have called Long Island home for over 25 years, raising two children and cultivating a vibrant life. Her interests extend to spending quality time with her family, exploring her culinary talents, embarking on adventures in the Adirondacks, and actively engaging in philanthropic endeavors, particularly in support of Oral Cancer and Alzheimer’s research.

My hobbies include spending time with my family, vacationing, video games, and collecting unicorns. I’m looking forward to meeting you at our practice!

I have been part of the Sayville Family Dentistry family for nearly 30 years. I appreciate and cherish the trusting relationships that I have built with our patients over this time. In my free
time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and 2 adult sons. I love decorating my home and taking road trips, especially to the peaceful country-side of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

The dental hygienist, Kay, has been cleaning my teeth for years, she goes out of her way to insure you are as pain free while your cleaning teeth. If you want to keep you teeth, all you have to do is follow her advice. I did and as a senior I still have my teeth for over 15 yrs. Kay has a wonderful personality; she is kind, friendly and non- judgmental. I look forward to my appointments with her.

Dr. Sandhya Udeshi, Kay and her team are committed to providing the best in preventative, restorative, Implant and cosmetic dentistry.
My Family has been using them for the past several years. I have required extensive complex dental work which among others included a bridge to multiple front upper teeth. Having a severe overbite I had been told by another dentist that this could not be done. Understanding its complexity she referred me to consider other Dental/surgical options. After fully explaining my options and providing informed consent she completed this procedure approximately 2 years ago and I have had an excellent cosmetic as well as functional result that greatly exceeded my highest expectations. Dr. Udeshi has a fine educational background and in addition to being very bright has excellent fine motor skills. She also puts the best interest of her patients above her own.

In summary, I am not a friend or family member of anyone from this team and highly recommend them without reservation.
